Organic Water. Really??
BioKristall, a German brand of bottled water has gotten the official permission to market itself as organic water. By organic it means this brand of water comes from lands that don't use a single pesticide to keep away the insects that feed on water crops, and any chemical fertilizer.

You may be thinking "What??!! Isn't all water organic??!" Indeed a watchdog group said exactly that, and they said it in court, but they lost. BioKristall won in getting itself be called "bio," which is the German term for organic, although they do have to tweak their sneaky logo which looked suspiciously like the symbol for state-approved organic foods.

Llanllyr Source bottled water in Wales stated that its bottled organic water comes from water source beneath organic fields that have never been farmed. Regardless of the suspicion if they really have Never been farmed, just because the soil has been classified as "organic" doesn't mean its organic quality rubs off on the water below it.

Both Ecopreneurist and others have pointed out that by definition anything "organic" must contain carbon. Water has two hydrogen molecules and one oxygen molecule: no carbon. The USDA, in fact, specifically exempts water from organic certification.
